Best bets for Wagga
Sunday racing sends us down the Hume to Wagga for an eight-race Country Showcase meeting.
Punters are met with big fields and wide-open markets.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and is likely to remain there, given the fine weather forecast.
The rail is out 4m from the 1400m to the winning post and true the remainder.
Kurt was on fire at Orange on Friday! His two tips both saluted at the generous odds of $15 & $4.40.

Wagga Race 1 Tip #5 Shelby Sixtysix $3.20
The Danny Williams trained three-year-old finds a more than suitable race here.
In a positive sign, jockey Shaun Guymer sticks with him after riding him in his first two starts.
He comes out of a strong Moruya maiden back on the 12th of April and looks well suited from the inside draw.
Dropping back to the 1200m against a weaker field is the key to his winning chances, and the quick back-up indicates he came through the last effort really well.
Now third-up, I expect the gelding by Toronado to be put in the first three and take some catching.
Wagga Race 7 Tip #4 Balansa $10.00
Punters are treated to another heat of the Wagga staying series again here, and this time I expect Balansa to take some beating.
Last start in the Albury Mile, he was unlucky to be caught three wide the trip from barrier 5.
Stepping out to the 1800m will give gun jock Blaike Mcdougall time to slot in from barrier 6 and find cover.
The six-year-old gelding must be ridden with some vigour as he doesn't have a blistering turn of foot and Mcdougall is the man for the job here.
Now fourth-up and with fitness on his side, I expect him to be at his peak and ready to notch up career win number five.
