Racing royalty fire again
The professional punters managed to bounce back this week with some top cash profit standings, after a dominant display from Australia's racing media last week.
Despite these efforts from the pros, the week belonged once again to the media folk, who filled 10 of the top 13 spots on the cash profit leaderboard. Reminding everyone why they make a career out of tipping horses.
And the man who has consistently done this time after time over the years is none other than the jewel in Sky Racing's crown, Tony Brassel.
Brassel made $2,280 in cash profit for his followers who bet $100 on all of his tips.
"Bras" steered punters into 30 winners in all, at a decent average winning price just a whisker shy of $4.
Considering the amount of races Brassel is required to provide his free tips for, this a stellar effort and a testament to his extensive racing knowledge and good judgement.
Brassel's Saturday's tips were especially good, where he ended the day on a high at Randwick.
After tipping Santa Ana Lane in the T J Smith, Brassel's best bet Brutal was too good in the Doncaster. To round it all out, Brassel's tip Multaja got the job done in the last.
With the form he's in, plenty more punters will be jumping on Brassel's free tips next Saturday.

Another highly respected racing figure who performed well was Terry Bailey.
His voice is instantly recognisable by racing fans and it's not surprising, given Bailey's long and distinguished career as a race caller.
Bailey found his way into this column last week and he's backed up the effort this time around.
With another 13 winners in the past 7 days, Bailey chalked up $1,830 for his followers, in addition to the $2,270 he found a week ago.
We gave you a hint about Bailey's hot streak then and it has only got better since.
From his past 9 tipping days, Bailey has now secured a profit in 8 of them.
You'll be hard-pressed to find form better than this.

It can't all be about the racing royalty however, as we have to give some kudos to the punters too.
The best of the lot was thedott, whose 23 winners at a strike rate of 26% generated a cash profit of $2,250.
This Cairns local certainly flew the flag high for the Sunshine State with this effort.
And after thedott's Monday tips secured a day-high POT of 184%, plenty will be on this Queenslander's selections in the coming days.
A final acknowledgement goes to Best Bets tipster and fellow Queenslander Chris Nelson, who had a cracking seven days.
The QLD form analyst also found his followers $2,250, at an impressive POT of 43%.
With 15 winners at an average price just shy of $5, and at a strike rate in excess of 25%, Nelson's great week was highlighted by his all-round tipping stats.
This will surely sway punters into snapping up Nelson's free tips for the coming weeks.
