Godolphin smash their future G1 star
Once again, sharp early money has provided key insights into where the smart punters are landing ahead of Group 1 racing at Moonee Valley & Rosehill.
At Moonee Valley, a Group 1-winning mare looks well-suited stepping up to 1600m, with gear changes suggesting she is ready to peak.
Meanwhile at Rosehill, the All-Star Mile winner has been strongly backed, with a fast tempo expected to play right into his hands.
As always, if the late money continues to flow, these selections will be even stronger plays.

Moonee Valley Tips
Jenni Moo Moo
The Clinton McDonald stable are lethal when they bet, and they let her drift last start ($8 out to $14), which suggests she wasn’t fully ready.
This time around, expectations are much higher, with gear changes (winkers first time) hinting that this is the race they’ve targeted.
If she jumps well and gets into the right spot in the run, expect her to be right in the finish.
Rapido Cheval
Previously the subject of a big betting plunge, where she delivered at Eagle Farm, showing serious ability.
She was fantastic last start at Sandown, only just missing by 0.1 lengths in a fast-run 1500m race.
Her run-on style suggests she will thrive over 2040m, making her a serious improver at great odds.
Quintessa
A Group 1-winning sprinting mare with serious class when she’s on song.
She had genuine excuses last start at Caulfield, finishing third after getting a long way back.
Now stepping up to 1600m for the first time, but as she matures, the extra trip may bring out her best.
My Temptation
This progressive mare is undefeated, winning four straight while rapidly rising through the grades.
Although she steps up in class to Benchmark 96, the race lacks depth, making her a strong chance to extend the streak.
Craig Williams sticks, and from a midfield draw (gate 6), she should get the perfect run.
Rosehill Tips
Sounds Of Heaven
A Group 1-level mare dropping back in class, and Joe Pride will be keen to impress the high-profile owners behind her.
She wasn’t suited in the Coolmore last start, getting too far back, but this is a much easier assignment at Group 3 level.
With a fair tempo expected, she can swoop late and finish over the top of them.
Alalcance
This import brained them at Randwick last start, leading from start to finish.
The Gai/Bott stable is on fire with these international types, and this one could be a serious Autumn and Spring contender.
With gate 5 and a lack of genuine speed elsewhere, she could control the race from the front and prove impossible to run down.
Tom Kitten
A Group 1 winner and All-Star Mile champion, having beaten Mr Brightside in one of the races of the year.
That form is elite, and although this race is slightly stronger, he maps perfectly with a strong tempo up front.
Expect him to settle midfield before unleashing late, making him a major player again.
Commemorative
Was smashed in betting last start ($5 into $3.80) before winning well at Group 3 level over 1200m.
Now stepping into Group 1 company, but James Cummings doesn’t throw them in the deep end without confidence.
She must have improved significantly from last start, and if she has, she could easily measure up here.
