Feature race previews and best bets
Super Saturday has arrived, with Flemington playing host to one of the best days of the Autumn racing calendar.
The Group 1 Newmarket Handicap for the sprinters and Australian Cup for the stayers are the feature races on what is expected to be a cracking day of racing.
The track is currently rated a Heavy 8 but with little rain predicted on Friday and Saturday, the track is set for an upgrade come race one.
The rail is out +8m the entire circuit and given this is the third meeting in eight days, it's likely the best going will be in the middle to outside of the straight.

Flemington Race 3 Tip #6 Katalin $4.60
The Lifeline, Spend and Western Sun are likely to set a solid tempo in front, setting the race up for Godolphin's Katalin.
This filly by Medaglia d'O'ro was heavily supported last run, before blowing the start.
She flashed home in an on-pace dominated race finishing only 2.05-lengths off the winner.
Now with a track pattern to suit, expect this filly to be flying over the top once again, but this time for the win.
Flemington Race 5 Tip #10 Wild Planet $2.80
Cradle Mountain, Sirius Suspect and Kentucky Breeze to set the pace. Wild Planet and Ef Troop behind them.
Wild Planet looks ready to win third up and now at peak fitness. He drops in weight to 54kg coming off a fourth placing behind Streets Of Avalon at WFA.
There are definite queries about the leaders of this race running a strong 1400m. He should get the perfect run here, sitting behind the leaders and be too strong on the line.
Flemington Race 7 Tip #1 Rubisaki $3.60
Sassy Saltage, Mrs Beckham, La Tene and How Womantic will ensure a solid tempo.
Rubisaki showed a good turn of foot last start and with a dream run again here looks set to repeat the dose.
She can sit mid-field of just behind the leaders and over the concluding stages prove far too good again.
