Punters continue their dominance
Following on from a terrific January, it was Australia's punters who carried over their good form into the month of February.
In fact, two punters broke the bookies' back after both recorded a monster cash profit in excess of $10K.
The media experts weren't totally disgraced though, with plenty faring well in the highest Profit on Turnover (POT) category.
Find out all of February's top performers below.
Best Horse Racing Tipster: Cash Profit
With a whopping $14,115 in cash profit from $100 win bets, February's gold medal goes to Jaystar.
This bloke from Logan was lapping up the winners across February.
The Queenslander managed to tip 176 of them in total, at a very handy average price of $7.52.
Incredibly, this included 3 winners at the 50/1 mark, the most impressive of which was See Ya Champ at Albany on the 16th.
Jaystar lands a big roughie at Albany.
After landing a stack of roughies, it's no surprise Jaystar brought home such a big profit to bag the top gong.
The runner-up in the cash profit category with an equally impressive $12,470 from $100 win bets was Toptipswednesday.
And it was a similar pattern to success for this Victorian punter, who tipped 68 winners at an average price of $9.26.
In other words, he bagged plenty of bolters.
One that stands out is Big Brew, that saluted at $55.60 odds at Sandown on Wednesday the 12th.
Toptipswednesday certainly lived up to his tipping alias with that tip.

The bronze medalist for February was VacantLot, who raked in $5K in cash profit.
This was generated by 9 winning tips from 30 selections, in what was a precise display of tipping.
It didn't hurt that VacantLot's average winner price was just shy of $10.
What an effort.
Best Horse Racing Tipster: POT
And it was VacantLot who also secured the gold in the profit on turnover category, with nobody coming close to his monster 167% POT.
This veteran punter from Merimbula on NSW's Far South Coast is certainly someone you want to keep your eye on.
That's because this is the third time in the past year that he's been mentioned as one of the tipsters of the month.
He's clearly onto a winning formula.
Securing the silver was JMK2019.
Like his tipster alias suggests, this punter has only been entering tips at theGreatTipOff.com since last year.
But it hasn't taken long for him to crack the podium as one of the month's leading tipsters.
JMK2019 ended up with a 73% POT after finding 8 winners from 40 tips.
Considering that the average price of these winners was $8.62, this is an impressive achievement.
It was a media expert who rounded out the podium, with Racenet's Laurie Sainsbury having a month to remember.
Sainsbury finished the month with 67% POT, despite only finding one winner.
This winning tip happened to be Bonvicini, that saluted on Saturday the 15th at 30/1 odds.
But don't be fooled into thinking that this was a one-off fluke.
Sainsbury has now made just shy of 10K in profit from 219 tips over the past 365 days.
What an effort.

Brisbane form analyst Rick Morris put plenty of smiles on the faces of punters who followed his free horse racing tips.
Throughout the month, Morris steered punters into 10 winners from 20 tips in the sunshine state.
Demonstrating how well he's being seeing them lately, Rick has racked up four profitable tipping weeks on the bounce.
Race caller Kim Stewart had another month to remember.
Stewart has been in some cracking form of late, having also featured in this article in December last year.
Next up is another race caller, with RSN Racing voice Adam Crettenden likewise showing his tipping class.
Cretters found 15 winners in February, in what was a great haul for the Victorian.
Laurie Sainsbury wasn't the only Racenet analyst who had a bumper month, with Cameron Happ also faring well.
Happ got a hold of 25/1 shot Tagaloa that took out the Blue Diamond Stakes, in what was one of the expert tips of the month.
And finally, the multi-talented Tony Rickards furthered his racing credentials with another stellar performance.
The Winning Post form expert tipped a terrific 18 winners across the month.
Don't be surprised if he carries this form into March.
