Saturday Best Bets at Flemington & Randwick 10th March 2018

Randwick should slightly favour on pace runners with rail in the 6m position and inside draws will be a bonus for any on speed types. Flemington has enjoyed a perfect week weather wise with sunshine every day, so i'm expecting a fair surface there.

Race 6 #6 Invincible Gem

Is an absolute beauty, she flies first up and has never finished worse than third here at Randwick. She’s had three great trials so I’m expecting a massive run her today. $6.50

Race 7 #7 Peaceful State

Flew home at Flemington last week and almost pinched it, just losing out to a sharp one in Grunt, fourth up here he will be rock hard fit and will have a flashing light on his head over the final 100m, watch for him. $8.50

Race 5 #7 Palazzo Vecchio

Went so close for us at huge odds last time out, just getting held up at a crucial time, D Oliver aboard from a wider draw should see her stay out of trouble and she might fly over the top of them here. $5.50

Race 6 #11 Merchant Navy

Is unbeaten at the track, unbeaten at the distance and unbeaten at the track and distance, what more can you say about this little bulldog with five wins from seven starts, he will be hard to beat! $5
