Race 1 – #4 Piraeus $5.50

Piraeus returns to the same set-up as last start but should be better suited this time with the rail back in the True position, giving him every opportunity to run on.

From barrier six, he will settle beyond midfield in a race that looks to have plenty of speed up front.

The expected race shape should allow him to unwind late and finish over the top of his rivals.

He finds a very winnable race and with the right run, he will be hard to beat.

Race 7 – #12 Price Tag $4.00

Price Tag brings an elite form line into this race, having finished second to the current Blue Diamond favorite, My Gladiola.

That race rated exceptionally well and is the second-highest-rated two-year-old race of the season, making this a significant drop in class.

Drawn in barrier eleven, she will land midfield with cover and be produced down the middle of the track when turning for home.

If she runs up to her last start, she should be winning and if she has made any improvement, she could put a gap in this field.
