Formulator’s Fantastic Roughies
As punters come out of hibernation for the first Group 1 of the year, plenty will be looking for tipsters who are on a roll.
After a brilliant January which saw him take out Tipster of the Month, our weekly leaderboard topper backed it up with another outstanding performance.
Only three media analysts made the top 10 with the Pro's and Punters dominating.
As highlighted in last week's article, racing conditions are tough at the moment, so the stars of the week are often those with the ability to find the diamond in the rough.
See their eye-watering winners below.
Best horse racing tipsters for the week
If there was an early market for tipster of the year, Formulator has set himself as the outright favourite.
After a red-hot start in January the sharp roughie tipster has gone huge again to start February.
This was highlighted by Reality Check saluting at Murray Bridge at the massive odds of $69.00.
He ended the week with a Profit on Turnover (POT) of 626% with a further $6,260 cash profit off $100 win bets.
An outstanding effort and long may it continue for his followers.
Another top tier effort came through WA form expert Ian McIntosh, or Kingofthewest as his followers would know him by.
Ian has been one of the most consistent tipsters on theGreatTipOff.com over his tipping career, boasting cash profit stats of $11,910 over the last 365 days.
His three winners for the week all saluted at odds greater than $4.40 including Material Witness at $15.40 down the Pinjarra straight.
Fans of WA racing should be all over the king's tips.
Keeping with WA form analysts, Scott McCormack is also smashing the bookies.
Scott is currently riding a 4-week winning streak with some unreal profit statistics.
He was also able to find Material Witness in the form guide and this led to a lovely $1,240 cash profit for the week.
Keep up the great work Scott.
Our first media representative comes in at spot five, Miles Pfitzner, the well known and loved SEN presenter.
Miles has been on a hot streak the last 30 days turning $100 into $2,520.
Last Wednesday and Thursday Miles went 5/6 with best bets getting home.
A general fan of racing his tips can come from any location at any track.
His sharp eye for value and a laugh has built him a strong following and it is sure to continue as we enter the Autumn carnival.
Our next media representative comes from Best Bets.
Stella Hounsell had a great day out at Randwick with three winners on the card.
However, it was her best bets which truly impressed.
Joviality and Frosty Rocks both saluted in impressive fashion to land her followers a $16.75 multi.
Followers would have popped the champagne when Jamie Kah gave Frosty Rocks a pearler to get the chocolates.
Great effort from Stella.
Wrapping up the media experts, much loved RSN tipster Adam Olszanski had a belter at Pakenham.
Best value bet for the card Master Bartholdi lobbed at $9.70 amongst 2 other winners and three further placings.
Adam is currently striking at 38% in February and will be looking to continue this form over the coming weeks.
Congratulations to all other pro and 'punter' tipsters who filled our top 10 leaderboard. An outstanding effort over a tough weekend of racing.
These include Data00, Haystack5, Niki09 and CaptainWA.
Best Greyhound and Harness Tipsters
Sky Racing tipster Matthew Young sure knows and loves his greyhound racing.
A regular appearance on our tipster of the week articles, Matt is currently riding a 5 month winning streak.
His latest star performance came at Mandurah where he nailed 7 winners on the card.
With the hot streak he is on he is sure to have plenty of late night followers from the eastern coast.
Matthew Young Mandurah Performance
There must be something in the water over in WA as even the harness callers are in outstanding form.
Craig Morrison has been one of the country's finest harness tipsters over his career.
One always looking for value, he often throws up big priced runners meaning followers are quite often instructed to go each way.
Keep chasing those roughie's Craig.
