Best bets from Travis Murray
Ascot plays host to a competitive seven-race card this Wednesday.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 but with showers forecast, there is a chance of a minor downgrade.
The rail is out 12m the entire circuit after we raced at 11m last Wednesday, when there was no bias evident.
With predicted easterly winds this week, it may be advantageous to be on-pace and punters should take note in early races.

Ascot Race 2 Tip #4 Talladega $2.50
This well-bred gelding stepped out for the first time at Narrogin and couldn't have been more impressive on debut, when strolling home to victory and running slick time in the process.
He spaced the second horse, who has since come out and won. While this race looks to have a few nice types engaged, Talladega appears untapped.
From the soft draw, jockey William Pike has numerous options but maps to drop three pairs back behind the obvious speed set by Sauvegarde and Dreamtime Diva.
From there he's set to get an economical run and with clear air on straightening, I think he will be finishing all over the top of them.
Ascot Race 7 Tip #5 Zackariah Beau $9.50
This underrated gelding has been flying this preparation and has been unlucky not to pick up a win.
Now deep into his prep and with fitness on his side, the step up to 1600m here is a positive move.
At all five starts this time in, Zackariah Beau has hit the line solidly from well back in the field.
With the combination of a soft draw, an extra 200m and the addition of Joey Azzopardi to ride, he ticks a number of boxes for this assignment.
I envisage plenty of speed here from a number of gallopers, including Bossy Rose and King Blitz drawn out wide.
If this horse can save some ground in the run, he can and build momentum on the turn and finish hard late.
