Roughies salute for leading punters
Two punters recorded mammoth cash profits this week, and it was largely thanks to $100+ roughies that they booted home.
Our new look leaderboard which you can see here, reveals all the best performing tipsters for the past week and other time periods. You can also see which tipsters have the best tipping streaks.
Biggest profit makers from last week
Leading the way with just shy of $7K in cash profit from $100 win bets was pro punter Intrepidarts.
This Sydneysider racked up almost 40 winning tips at a thumping average price of $12.44.
His standout selection came last Tuesday at Albury, when The Firechief got home at enormous $121.60 odds.
An early tip of the year contender from Intrepidarts
With several other winners saluting at double-figure odds, Intrepidarts clearly isn't shy of going for a bit of value.
And this strategy more than paid off over the past week.
Another punter who went for the rough stuff was Queenslander Beautifulfart.
His 8 winners got home at a plump average price of $18.12.
And like Intrepidarts, this big average price was helped by a 100/1+ roughie.
Trip To London was its name and it greeted the judge at Walcha last Friday, paying a whopping $113.90 on the tote.

Along with his other winners, Beautifulfart ended up raking in $6,400 in cash profit from $100 win bets.
This came at an impressive 79% POT.
Not bad at all.
Onto the media tipsters now and it was a couple of veterans who showed their class.
First up is none other than the top dog of the SKY Racing stable, Tony Brassel.
"Bras" found $2,710 in cash profit for everyone who followed his free tips with $100 bets over the last 7 days.
This resulted in a very tidy 54% POT for punters.
But his best tip stat would have to be his strike rate.
From 50 tips placed, Brassel found the win 44% of the time.
This kind of accuracy is why punters continue to put stock in Brassel's racing insight and tips.
An incredible effort considering the mountain of form he's required to get through each week, at tracks all over the country.
Another media expert who commands a similar level of respect is the Telegraph's Ray Thomas.
This is the second consecutive week Thomas has earned a mention in this article, reflecting the stellar form he's currently in.
This time, Thomas tipped 29 winners at a solid average price of $3.77.
This translates into a cash profit of $2,240 for everyone who followed his free tips with $100 bets.
However, change the leaderboard settings to "actual stake" and Thomas's profit jumps up above the $3K mark.
Ray Thomas' best bets shoot him up the Leaderboard for Actual Stake
For media tipsters, actual stake means that the stake is doubled for their best bets.
And with 7 of his best bets booting home, there's no doubt that Thomas is on song at the moment.
Punters are sure to be riding on his coat-tails over the coming days.
