Menangle Race 1 #9 The Croupier $3.80
The Croupier (9) can assert his authority on the first race.
This horse almost grows a leg when he can find the lead and I think he will be able to head forward here.
His return to racing last month was quite ordinary but he has shown on several occasions this year that his best is very handy.
Menangle Race 2 #1 Loyalist $2.20
In a rich vein of form, Loyalist (1) can win again.
The Joe Conolly-trained pacer has won or placed at his past nine outings and showed a nice burst of speed to beat a similar standard of field last time out.
From the ace draw, gun driver Blake Jones has both options and the best horse in the race.
Menangle Race 3 #5 Mymatepog $8.00
Mymatepog (5) looks a great price.
The Bathurst pacer has been improving since an 18-month layoff from racing and this culminated in a stylish victory last time out.
Tonight's race is not strong by Saturday night standards and I think this runner's form-lines may be superior.
