King Magnus leaves bookies reeling
There were some familiar faces at the top of the leaderboard this week, with some big statements made across the country.
Funnily enough it was one horse which caused the bookies most pain, with 5 of the top 10 tipping the $10 pop.
Best horse racing tipsters this week
Climbing to the top of the summit this week was veteran form analyst Graeme Carey.
There was plenty of value on offer for followers of the Racenet tipster, as he steered punters into Anarchy at Ipswich paying $7.70 and Salateen at Doomben paying $6.80.
A very tidy 190% POT for Carey.
Daniel Pryor was the next cab off the rank, after having a fill-up at Cranbourne.
The WA local found 4 winners on the standalone Melbourne Saturday racing card, including $10 pop King Magnus who took out the feature event.
That effort came on the quick back-up, following a horse racing tip to write home about at Bendigo on Wednesday. Plenty would have been thinking Pryor was speaking in Swahili when he tipped the namesake at the $20 quote in Race 2.
Clearly not, as the Danny O'Brien trained colt got the job done on debut.
Securing third position this week was SEN racing analyst Andrew Slevison.
He found 3 winners accross Cranbourne and Newcastle on Saturday to drive 163% POT.
Slevison also managed to unearth King Magnus, to round out a cracking day for the Melbourne based tipster.

Gilbert Gardner was in the mix once again, with his 16 tips for the week yielding an impressive 141% POT.
Surprise, surprise, it was that horse again, King Magnus, who was on Gardner's hit list, leading one to think that the bookies clearly missed something in the form.
The Herald Sun racing journalist was running hot after filling up at The Valley on Friday night, tipping 4 winners on the 8 race card.
He's now showing 32% over the last 30 days from 79 tips.
Speaking of running hot, Pro Punter Josh Shields is deadset flying!
He was in the money once again this week, with 2 winners at Cranbourne including yes you guessed it, that horse again.
That made it 5 straight winning weeks for the Victorian tipster, who's had a Spring carnival to remember.

Nick Wildman was the fifth tipster in the top 10 to find the Cranbourne Cup winner.
That was one of five winners he found on the card, which also included Chartres in Race 3 paying $9.00.
It was a big week for the Englishman who will be hoping his countrymen can return the urn this Summer!
We're continuing on the theme of the UK, as a Scotsman also made big waves this week.
No doubt inspired by Scotland's inspiring win against the Wallabies at Murrayfield, Malad1 found 3 winners from 11 tips, 2 of which came at Angers in France.
He would've been laughing all the way to the bank after Madison Avenue greeted the judge at $14.40.
Harness and Greyhound Tipsters of the Week
Veteran Pro Punter Roy Sundborg was the top Harness tipster of the week, with a winner to make your eyes water.
He steered punters into $23 pop Heavenly Wisdom at Penrith on Thursday.
Demonstrating how his Pro Punter title is no fluke, Roy boasts 12% POT from over 1,700 tips placed at theGreatTipOff since 2010.
He's an absolute gun.
Duncan Dornauf was also on song, steering punters into 4 winners at Davenport at an average price of $4.25.
Turning to Greyhounds now and it was Mosse who stole the show once again.
Fans of the theGreatTipOff will know this tipster well, given she's been tipping on the site since 2013.
The Inverleigh resident's 13 Greyhound tips for the week generated a 114% POT and incredibly, she now sits on a 15 day winning streak!
