She is bred for these conditions
The Magic Millions 3YO Guineas has always been a highlight, but this year’s edition feels particularly complex.
With a full field of 18 runners, rain-affected ground and countless variables in play, this race promises to be a paradise for exotic players seeking value.
One thing is clear. Taking anything under $6.00 for a favourite in such an unpredictable contest is a brave call.
The entire race hinges on where two exciting fillies find themselves in the opening 300m, adding further intrigue to an already captivating contest.

Magic Millions 3YO Guineas 2025 Tips and Best Bets
Track Conditions
Rain is forecast in the 48 hours leading up to the race.
Punters should expect the track to start in the Soft 6/7 range, likely slipping into heavy territory as the day progresses.
With the rail set True and plenty of prior traffic, expect the ideal running lanes to shift wide, likely out past the centre of the track.
The Speed Map
In deteriorating conditions, this speed map is anything but straightforward.
The Gai Waterhouse-Adrian Bott stable should set a strong tempo with their trio of front-running chances.
Shangri La Express looks the likely leader from a wide barrier.
Stablemates Catoggio and Dawn Service are likely to sit on-speed, with the latter getting a nice trail just behind the leaders.
Sunshine Coast duo Cosmic Fire ($11.00) from an inside draw and Street Chase ($16.00) rolling forward from out wide will add to the early pace, joined by roughies like Hella Fast.
Unbeaten filly Dance To The Boom ($17.00) and Tuileries ($8.50) are expected to slide across from wide gates, settling just off the speed.
Well-credentialed runners like Snitzanova ($5.50) chasing a fourth straight win, should get a cosy run a few lengths off the lead but well off the fence.
Expect backmarkers like Bittercreek ($14.00) and Give Me Space ($14.00) to drift well back, hoping for a hot pace to set up their late runs.
The Favourite - Snitzanova
Unbeaten Snitzanova, representing Ciaron Maher, enters as a narrow favourite after being freshened up following a dominant win in heavy conditions at Caulfield.
While her form is strong, she’s no value at anything under $7.50,especially in such an open field.
Neil’s Best Bet
Tuileries may be coming off a BM72 Handicap win, but don’t let that deter you.
Trained by Peter Snowden, she’s bred for these conditions being by So You Think and is improving with every run.
Her ability to handle wet ground combined with her finishing power makes her terrific value in a race where no standout emerges.
The Dangers
- Dawn Service: From an advantageous draw, this wet tracker at big odds could surprise many, especially if the tempo favours on-speed runners.
- Snitzanova: A genuine threat with her heavy-track form, but at her likely short price, she’s a tough play in a deep field.
- Bosustow: Expect a big finish from this underrated colt. His strong close in the Vo Rogue Stakes suggests he could feature in the exotics.
Neil’s Top FOUR
- Tuileries
- Bosustow
- Dawn Service
- Snitzanova
