Doomben Race 5 Tip #3 Sacca $7.00
Going back to last preparation, this 3YO gelding put in a very good run to finish 3.35 lengths fifth.
There was added merit to this performance when you see the horses he finished behind, in Startantes and Alpine Edge.
The son of Capitalist was interfered with at a crucial stage in the straight, and should have finished closer to the winner.
He’s had two runs back since a spell and last start never shirked the issue, boxing on well for third on a heavy track.
Apprentice Leah Kilner claims 2kg and as a result gets him down in the weights to 55 kgs.
He should be ready to run a big race and at the juicy odds, I’m ready to find out what he can really produce.

Moonee Valley Race 8 Tip #12 In The Boat $2.90
Emerging sprinter who looks primed to stretch his winning sequence to four.
Impressive win at Caulfield last start over 1100m when he had to work hard early from his wide barrier to assume the lead.
He was then able to switch off in front and withstood a strong challenge from smart 3YO Marine One towards the end of the race.
He was strong after the line suggesting that the 1200m will pose no concerns.
In-form apprentice Alana Kelly's 2kg claim reduces his weight to 55kg and from barrier five he will be able to dominate this race from on-speed.

Ascot Race 1 Tip #6 Via Monte $3.90
Via Monte is a horse who looks very progressive.
This 3YO gelding returned off an eye-catching trial with an even more impressive win.
He was held up for clear running but once out, exploded and put them away.
My Baby Blue Jean came out of the race and won next start by 3 lengths.
The form around the Front Bar and Trix Of The Trade from his initial campaign read very with both looking above average.
Via Monte last start victory will be a great form reference going forward as he ran 3 lengths faster than any other 1000m maiden on the day.
That race has already produced 3 subsequent winners.
Furthermore this was with great figures, including the fastest last 600m of the meeting.
Looking to this weekend, Spin The Knife has speed and will be the leader. Via Monte will settle 1-off midfield with cover stalking the speed.
Rawiller will be able to let him rip and hopefully finish over the top of them with his powerful turn of foot.
