The media experts were up and about in June, after getting the better of the punters in the Profit on Turnover (POT) category.
But it was a different story when it came to cash profit, with the punters filling their wallets in the first month of winter.
What united both groups was bumper profits and some seriously impressive tipping.

After a sensational display of tipping in June, it was form analyst Cody Lane who topped the charts with a whopping 133% POT.
The SEN man bagged 11 of his 33 tips at a mouth-watering average price just shy of $7.
He took out theGreatTipOff monthly tipping competition in the process, comfortably sitting on top of the tree.

While he found some good winners in Melbourne and Brisbane, Lane did most of his damage in Sydney.
Highlights included $18 pop Magic Ruler at Rosehill on the 19th, and $9 shot Patino Ruby on the 26th.
On top of that, the up and coming form analyst is also boasting a four-week winning streak at all tracks.
Plenty will be keen for him to carry this form into July.
Cody Lane is absolutely flying
Securing the runner's up prize thanks to a thumping 99% POT was Isatheo.
The punter from the scenic Adelaide hills jagged 14 winners in June, at a bumper average price of $10.51.
The standout was $60 pop Plymouth Road, that got the chocolates at Moe on the 24th.
If Isatheo keeps this form up, he'll be listed as a pro in no time.
Isatheo bags a big roughie
Speaking of the pro punters, it was one of their mob who bagged the bronze.
Cyberyang nabbed 7 winners at a strike rate of 23% and an average price of $7.66, to finish up with a fat 73% POT.
The Logan local tipped winners in multiple states but also over in Hong Kong.
This pro punter is a keen yard watcher, and places majority of his tips based on how the horses parade.
Given he's now amassed $4k in cash profit from 146 win bets over the past 180 days, this strategy is clearly working for Cyberyang.
Craig Lewis from Racing Base also earns a mention after racking up a thumping 84% POT.
The South Australian form analyst jagged 6 winners from 18 selections at an impressive average price of $5.52.
While this meant that Lewis didn't meet the minimum tip requirement of 30 tips for our monthly competition, he still had a cracking month on the punt.
No doubt his racing tips will be hot property in July.
The punters were the dominant force in the cash profit category, and it was Ipswich resident Angela66 who led the way.
The Queenslander's tips generated a mind-blowing $11,610 in cash profit from $100 win bets.
This was after Angela66 jagged 25 winners at a ridiculous average price of $29.16.
She clearly doesn't mind going for a bit of value, and that strategy certainly paid off in June.
Fellow Queenslander Niki09 secured the sliver thanks to an enormous $7,730 in cash profit from $100 win bets.
This punter found no less than 53 winners, at an average price of $5.13 and a strike rate better than 25%.
Punters who like betting at Sandown will also be excited by what Niki09 has been dishing up at the track.
He's now recorded 7 winning months on the trot at Sandown.

As well as firing in the POT category, this Crow Eater notched up $7,310 in cash profit.

The racing writer and Melbourne form expert bagged 9 winners.
They got up at a meaty average price of $6.84 to go along with an impressive strike rate of 25%.

A couple of SA tipsters came home next, headed by the state's premier race caller Brett Davis.
The SKY Racing man called and tipped winners at no less than five different tracks during June.
He jagged 22 winners all up, at a strike rate of 33% and an average price of $4.76.
This drove a bumper 59% POT for Davis and his followers.
Racing.com's James Jordan was the other South Aussie to deliver.
The form expert finished up with a 49% POT after finding 20 winners at a strike rate of 33% and an average price of $4.54.
Jordan has long been regarded as one of the best Morphettville tipsters in the business.
Given he's now showing a three-week winning streak at the track, punters will be launching his next Morphettville selections.

Last cab off the rank is Greg Hooper from The West Australian.
The WA form analyst had a month to remember, after tipping 18 winners at a superb strike rate of 38%.
They also greeted the judge at a handy average price of $3.88 to generate a terrific 49% POT.
One of the rising stars out west, Hooper's July tips are sure to be a hot commodity.
