Morphetville Parks Race 5 Tip #4 Kwoi Ho $3.50
Kwoi Ho looks well placed lining up on the tricky Parks track.
We are looking at the high possibility of running on a Heavy track, along with the normal leaders bias on show.
I liked the run of Kwoi Ho over the 1740m at Sale, powering to the line to win well in a Benchmark 64.
The form out of that race has been solid and he will relish the step up to the 1950m.
He has run 2nd in his only run on a Heavy track so the conditions will suit him okay.
There isn’t much speed in the race so I expect Vorster to get him across and settle in the first half of the field.
From there he can be too strong late.
Flemington Race 8 #1 Cherry Tortoni $7.50
Trainer Patrick Payne is flying with ten winners this week and his highest-rated horse can continue the winning run at Flemington.
This race ticks a lot of the boxes for Cherry Tortoni with the likelihood of a fast speed and a wet track.
He looked certain to win in Adelaide at his last start over 1600m but was edged out after he appeared to switch off.
Payne has taken the blinkers off and put visors on.
He’s also drawn out which suits his style of racing.
He generally races well over 1400m at Flemington.
He looks a great each-way bet.
Eagle Farm Race 6 #2 Kiku $4.20
Earlier in this preparation, she ran a great second in the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes.
She went on to run down the track in the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap and more recently was doing her best work late in The Coast at Gosford.
Now with almost a month between runs, she will be ready to go again.
She returns to her own sex where she will find this a lot easier.
Chris Waller and James McDonald can rack up another feature here.
Belmont Race 9 Tip #1 All Day Session $7.50
Cracking race.
All Day Session drops back in grade to contest the easiest race he has seen in several starts.
He is a 66+ and 72+ winner and 3 starts ago he was less than a length off Triple Missile.
Before that, he was a nose off Kissonallforcheeks and has run in group and listed races over the Ascot Summer Carnival.
These are belting formlines for this 66+.
A horse usually in need of a run, he will be fitter for this race second-up.
He does rise in weight but Brad Rawiller is a good jockey for carrying weight.
There will be a very good tempo in this race, which will suit All Day Session.
He will get back in the field but will get cover and hopefully come with a finish over the top of them.
The Maley stable is striking very well at the moment and this is another horse placed with a terrific chance at the each-way price.
