Our Tipster of the Month awards for November 2018 include two firsts.
It's the first time we've had a protest upheld regarding a previous month's winner and it's also the first time we've had a dead-heat victory.
In October we announced the highest profit on turnover (POT) came from Melbourne professional punter Formulator. We can now reveal that we only gave you half the story in last month's edition of this column.
Shepparton punter LeoBar wasn't initially excluded in our assessment because he joined theGreatTipOff.com from one of our sister sites. After noting the issue, the numbers were re-run revealing that he managed to score precisely the same profit on turnover as the previously announced winner Formulator.
Incredibly, both punters made 143.33% profit on turnover in October. We showed you the trophy cabinet for Formulator last month, so here's the one you didn't see with LeoBar in the picture.
Profit On Turnover
Queensland punter Murph has posted his tips at theGreatTipOff.com since early 2011, establishing a legacy of consistent punting performances in that time. His 17 November tips notched up 137% POT and over the past 90 days he boasts an outstanding 45% POT.
Not far behind was Brisbane punter Tezzaraki. His 20 winners averaged odds of $12.72 which gave value punters a massive kick from his selections.
Minstrel164 was the second runner-up registering 77% POT from his 30 tips posted over the 30 day period.
Cash Profit
There were some huge cash profits made in November with the biggest of them rating in the top 5 highest cash profits since we started recording back in 2009.
That record making profit came from RowdyLegend who hails from the punting breeding ground of Shepparton.
Finding 44 winners from 102 tips placed in the month, he made his followers a mammoth $19,780 from $100 win bets.
His amazing cash profit came from a 16% strike rate at average odds of $10.90 for his winners.
That effort produced a cracking 70% win profit - a level rarely reached from 282 tips.
Runner-up Tezzaraki would have won this award in any other month with his $11,650 profit from $100 win bets. His 20 winners averaged $12.72, which gave his followers 84% profit on turnover.
Second runner-up Mark Hunter needs no introduction to Australian punters. One of the most respected names in horse racing, he has forgotten what most people know about the sport.
Punters following each one of Hunter's tips with $100 win bets finished the month with a healthy $4,850 extra in the bank.
All of these punters and form analysts can be found in our horse racing tips market where every tipster is listed with validated profit statistics.
