This week saw another solid performance by theGreatTipOff.com's pro punters, after they took out 6 of the top 10 spots on the weekly leaderboard for Profit on Turnover (POT).
But the real story was the media experts, with three well-known faces making a splash including Chris Blackwell who came out on top.
Best horse racing tipsters of the week
Blackwell would have to be right up there as one of Western Australia's best judges of a racehorse.
The form analyst and regular contributor to WA Racing publication OzRace had a whale of a week.
He jagged 7 winners at a strike rate of 27% and an outrageous average price of $11.03.
This was largely thanks to the roughie he got a hold of at Pinjarra last Thursday.
Blackwell steered all of his followers into $54 pop Stable Secret, who just got the bob in a tight finish.
Chris Blackwell reeled in a whale in the west
It's no wonder that Blackwell's tips generated a whopping 197% POT, or $5,120 in cash profit if you followed his tips with $100 bets.
What a way to kick-start the year.
TAB's favourite son Glenn Munsie was the next media expert to make waves, after his tips drove a thumping 160% POT.
Munse was all over Saturday's Rosehill meet, bagging 3 winners including $16.10 shot Tycoonist in Race 7.
If that wasn't good enough, he made Tycoonist one of his best bets to boot, meaning his POT soared up to 229% on the actual stake horse racing leaderboard where we double the stake on best bet tips.
Glenn Munsie ran riot at Rosehill
On top of that, Munse has now also dished up two winning weeks on the bounce.
His next tips are sure to be very popular.
The third media expert to really show his class was one of our resident form analysts, Rick Morris.
Morris steered the faithful into 4 winners over the past week but it was really all about one tip.
That was Krone in the Magic Millions fillies and mares race, that scooted up the inside to upset race favourite Athiri.
It was a tough watch for some but not Morris and his fans, who were tucking into the monster $54.10 odds.
Rick Morris goes big on Magic Millions day
Morris not only finished the week with a huge 147% POT, but extended his 30 day POT to a very healthy 17%.
Terrific consistency.
Plenty of pro punters deserved a mention this week but it was Spartacus who had the best of it in our eyes.
The Moreton Bay local racked up 15 winners at a juicy average price of $7.79.
This translated to an enormous cash profit of $6,580 from $100 win bets and a ripping 129% POT.
But just as impressive as the value was the accuracy.
Spartacus has now recorded five straight profitable days, and on top of that is boasting a 41% POT over the past thirty.
Phenomenal going.
Spartacus is seeing them well
Starting with the trots and RSN's Craig Rail had a week to remember after finding a hefty 77% POT.
The race caller nabbed 3 winners from just 9 selections at a meaty average price of $5.30.
While this was an impressive weekly performance, it's Rail's extended record that will get punters talking.
He's showing a three-month tipping streak at all tracks, as well as a 21% POT over the past 90 days.
Tremendous tipping.
Moving onto the greys and a pro punter by the name of Cyberyang had an absolute fill-up.\
The Queenslander nailed 2 winners from 14 selections, at odds of $21 and $34 respectively.
To bag one roughie like this is hard enough, but to grab two from just a handful of tips is a special effort.
It's no surprise then that Cyberyang clocked off with a 293% POT.
His next tips are sure to create plenty of interest.
