Race 4 #1 Eclair Dancer $18.00

While Eclair Dancer is still a maiden after 13 starts, he’s been competing against significantly stronger opposition than what he faces today.

First-up last start for his new stable, he performed admirably over 1450m at Kempsey after a single trial.

Settling last from an inside barrier, he showed a sharp turn of foot in the closing stages to charge into fourth.

Second-up here, he should strip fitter and with the benefit of an apprentice claim he gets in well at 56kg.

From barrier 7 he’s well placed to settle in the moving line around midfield and with a similar finish to last start, can be right in the mix at a big price.

Race 6 #4 Savoca $5.00

Savoca has been building nicely this preparation.

The 4YO gelding scored first-up at Scone over 900m despite a slow start and has produced two satisfactory efforts since.

Most recently he rose to 1100m, pushing forward from a wide gate and holding his ground well.

With a similar set-up here and now fourth-up at peak fitness, Savoca is ready to produce his best.
